Since I started this blog the photos have all reflected fall and winter life on the mountain, well summer has arrived! Sorry that I skipped right past spring! I wanted to update my site as well as share with you all a couple of new photos. This place I live is absolutely breathtaking in the winter time when snow is on the ground but believe me it’s gorgeous in the summer as well. My wonderful husband has spent quite a few Sunday’s doing things around the house while I’m sleeping. He’s had a rough few months after losing his Dad and so now he fills his time by doing things in the yard. Sunday has always been an important day of rest and relaxation for us just as God intended it to be. With my crazy work schedule I’m often sleeping the Sabbath day away, but each time I wake up to another beautiful surprise from David.
I’ve got several ideas in my head for future posts that I’m hoping to get out to you all soon. For one, I need to update you on my reading challenge and suggest some more wonderful books to you. I also am in the midst of something wonderful with my husband, a reset and rebuild of sorts, and I hope to share some of that inspiration. And last but not least a huge thing is happening soon for me, in just under two weeks I will be hanging up my headset. It’s scary, sad and exciting all at the same time, and I hope to be able to put some of my feelings into words for you all as I transition out of what’s been a very special and important job for me over the last 4 1/2 years.
In the mean time hope you will just be happy with an update from me with some beautiful photos and that will you continue to be patient with me as I work on myself which will lead to this being an ever better blog in the future!
PS-Don’t forget, I’m really trying to put social media in the past, primarily Facebook, so I’d love it if you would actually go to the blog website and subscribe rather than relying on seeing the posts on Facebook. That brings another possible idea to mind, how to grow a blog presence without Facebook.
