Reading Challenge Update

Earlier this year I posted about my reading challenge for 2019, I figured it was about time for an update so here goes, I’ve read 28 books this year! So far I’ve also done very good at fitting them into the categories for the specific challenge I chose. I am actually 4 books behind schedule to reach my goal but there is still time!
I am starting to struggle though with fitting books into the specific categories I have left, which is also derailing my progress a little bit. Since I am also trying to keep up with this blog and build my business I figured I would at least derail in a good way. So the book that I am starting today is “You Are a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero. If you’ve not read her previously you must really look her up, this lady is my spirit sister, she absolutely cracks me up! Mostly because she speaks the truth, her truth, and I can relate to where she’s been. I cannot wait to read this book and see what else I can learn from her.
So below is my list of everything I’ve read so far in 2019. You can find almost all of these books on Amazon. I know a lot of people have not jumped on the eBook bandwagon and believe me I feel ya on that, for a long time I hadn’t either. I finally broke down though and got myself a new Kindle and have loved every second of it. I still love a good paper book as well as using my local library but it’s definitely nice to just go online find a book and read it, at the exact moment I want to. In addition, if you have Amazon Prime there are so many great titles you can read for FREE! Then of course there is also the Kindle Unlimited program through Amazon where again there are tons of great books that you can read with your membership. Oh and just a side note you do not have to buy an actual Kindle to use them, you can simply download the app on your cell phone! I’m going to include a link below to my current read for you, this link will get you to it on Amazon where you can buy either the paper copy or the eBook. Reading makes me so happy and it’s such a great way to not only learn but also relax and decompress. Happy little Friday ya’ll!

I'm just a simple girl, I'm a wife and momma first and foremost, and now a Nana which is my greatest job so far! I also work full time but due to the changes our country and world have been through I now work from home. I grew up in a small town in Virginia and now call another small town in Virginia home. I enjoy writing and thought it might be fun to share a little piece of my life with others.
