I’m sorry!

How in the world has it been 8 days since my last post?! And that was just a quick post of an unexpected snow storm. I know it’s not that big of a deal, but it really bothers me. I really, really wanted to be better with this blog about getting content out there. I guess this is just a true testament though to how fast times goes by, and how quickly it gets away from you also. I’m really hoping to get better, although it seems like I’m always planning for tomorrow. I’m going to blog more, I’m going to meal prep more, I’m going to exercise more, fill in the blank because there are many more things I could list. Do you do that too? I hope so, not because I wish that on you, but because I know I can’t be alone in this! Why is it so easy to plan, dream, brainstorm, wish for yet so hard to follow through on all of it?! I wish I had the answer, maybe someday I will!

I started a new book tonight. Ironically the title is “Girl, Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis; all while I sit here apologizing to you for my lack of posts! I really enjoyed her first book so I’m excited for this one as well. I’m sure many of you have by now heard her name, and heard of her first book titled “Girl, Wash your Face”. I had no idea who she was before that book, though apparently she’d been blogging and running a business for quite some time. When I first heard, well saw on Facebook really, people talking about the book I thought “wow what a weird title”. As I’ve said before I tend to not follow the crowd, but so many people were talking about it, and Amazon Audible had a free trial, so you know why not?! I truly enjoyed it and it prompted me to read a few other similar books last year. That in turn prompted me to issue myself a reading challenge for 2019. That’s a blog post of it’s own, so stay tuned!

I'm just a simple girl, I'm a wife and momma first and foremost, and now a Nana which is my greatest job so far! I also work full time but due to the changes our country and world have been through I now work from home. I grew up in a small town in Virginia and now call another small town in Virginia home. I enjoy writing and thought it might be fun to share a little piece of my life with others.
